A streak camera is a unique tool that is used to measure the evolution of a linear image with very high time resolution. Streak cameras are best used to measure pulse duration of some ultrafast optical phenomena (i.e. time-resolved spectroscopy & LIDAR). Streak cameras are the only instruments that can capture the behaviour over time of multiple optical signals. OptoScope streak cameras provide temporal resolution down to the Picosecond regime. Additionally, OptoScope systems have high sensitivity allowing single photon detection.
